Cheesecake Day is now a global holiday and is recognized internationally. This delicious day is now named International Cheesecake Day to be celebrated worldwide!

Cheesecake Day was originally designated in 2001 as a delicious way to celebrate this sweet cheesy dessert. It has expanded to include 12 separate daily holidays that celebrate all the favorite ways cheesecake can be served and eaten. Now a global holiday, see all the different ways cheesecake is prepared around the world in our Cheesecake Around the World series.

While many websites incorrectly list this day as National Cheesecake Day, it was not created to be a national holiday. Cheesecake is loved around the world and is international. Please use #internationalcheesecakeday and #cheesecakeday and remove the limitations of “national”.
