International Cheesecake Day
July 30th
July 30th is officially Cheesecake Day
This is the day to celebrate this yummy dessert.
Who doesn’t love cheesecake?
Cheesecake day was established to celebrate the amazing cheesecake! The first Cheesecake day was observed in 1985 by Patti Jewel. Growing up in a family of bakers, cheesecake was always a favorite! This day was established after a trip to New York and first taste of real New York style cheesecake. We think cheesecake deserves a day of it’s own! International Cheesecake Day was officially designated by HolidaySmart.com‘s Holiday Registrar.

How to celebrate
Celebrate cheesecake day by having a slice of your favorite cheesecake.
Make your own – making cheesecake is not as hard as you might think. And it is a fun way to try your own unique flavors or add your favorite toppings.
Order a slice for dessert – eating out today? Order up a slice of cheesecake and indulge!
Pick up a cheesecake at your favorite bakery – One of our favorite things to do is to pick up a couple slices from our favorite bakery.
Ideas to make it fun
Making a cheesecake can be fun, especially if you want to try out different types. Buy the mini pie pans and split the cheesecake batter into bowls so everyone can add their own favorite fruit or indulgence. Pick out a variety of cheesecakes from your favorite bakery and share them so you can try them all.
Important Note, this day was originally Cheesecake Day (not National Cheesecake Day). Because it has become a global celebration, it was renamed to International Cheesecake Day to be shared across nations. Please share using #CheesecakeDay and #InternationalCheesecakeDay so that the world can share in the joy of celebrating the cheesecake.
